Significant contemporary Czech photographer Alžběta Jungrová belongs to to the founding members of the 400 ASA group. For many years, the basis of her work were genres and reports for which she traveled with the camera a large piece of the world. She photographed in Cambodia, the largest tanker scrapyard in Bangladesh Chittagong, armed children and civilians in the Gaza Strip, or addicts on the Afghan-Pakistani border, for which she received honorable mention of Czech Press Photo. In her photographs, we also find the Indians of the Nukak tribe in the Colombian jungle and for photographs from the Burmese refugee camp in Bangladesh she received the Award of the High Commissioner of the UN. Although she was a success for her reports, she decided to leave this environment and focus mainly on free creation.
Throughout her photographic journey, she remains faithful to people and interest in their fates. It is represented by one of the most prestigious agencies in the field of commercial photography 4D Photo.
