Information on the processing of personal data by Kodl Contemporary, s.r.o.
This document provides you with information on how we process your personal data and what your rights are in relation to it, in the event that:- you visit the website kodlcontemporary.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”);
– you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter;
– you contact us via our contact form;
– you contact us with interest in a work;
– you otherwise contact us or otherwise provide us with your personal data.
We have tried to make this information as understandable as possible. If anything is unclear to you, we will be happy to explain any part or term to you.
1. Who processes your personal data?
The controller of your personal data, i.e. the person who determines and decides why and how we process your personal data, is our company:

2. How and why are your personal data processed?
When processing personal data, we comply with the relevant legal regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
We process your personal data only for the following reasons and for the following purposes:
2.1 it is necessary for the performance of a contract that we conclude with you or for the implementation of measures taken prior to the conclusion of such a contract. We conclude such contracts with you in particular after you express interest in purchasing a work on the Site, or if you are our supplier or business partner.
2.2 it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of our company. Our legitimate interest is to inform you about our activities and current offers via e-mail newsletter, as well as to present our activities to the public. Our legitimate interest is also to respond and answer your questions, suggestions or comments.
2.3 it is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations. We process your personal data in this way for accounting purposes and in other cases where we are required to do so by law.
2.4 on the basis of your consent to the processing of personal data, if you provide it to us, for other specific cases. On the basis of your consent, we process your personal data, in particular if you register on the Site to receive our newsletter or contact us via the Site.
We process your personal data for the period during which our contractual relationship lasts or for which we have your consent. After that, we only store those of your personal data that are further necessary for the exercise of our rights, the fulfillment of our obligations or the achievement of our legitimate interests, or for which legal regulations require it.
There is no automated decision-making or profiling when processing your personal data.
3. Which personal data do we process if you provide it to us for the above purposes?
We generally process only personal data that you provide to us or that we obtain with your knowledge, and in some cases also personal data that is publicly available.
Such data may include your:
name and surname;
date of birth;
address;
contact details (telephone, e-mail, billing address, delivery address);
bank account number;
other personal data that you provide to us.
We generally do not process your sensitive personal data.
4. Which personal data do we process when you visit the Site?
Your data is also processed when you visit the Site (regardless of your activity on the Site).
When you visit the Site, data is recorded that your internet browser automatically transmits to our server. The following information is automatically recorded in connection with your visit to the Site:
The IP address of your device;
Date and time of access;
The network from which you access;
The browser and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer and the name of your Internet access provider.
This data is used only to the extent necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the site. The data is not systematically collected, evaluated or otherwise further processed. This information is automatically deleted in accordance with the settings of your Internet browser.
5. To whom else do we provide your personal data and why?
As part of our company’s activities, there may be cases where we are forced to provide your personal data to someone else.
We do so only in justified cases, if this is necessary to fulfill the contract we conclude with you (e.g. to carriers for the purpose of delivering your shipment), or to ensure the functioning of our company (e.g. external accountant), i.e. to ensure our legitimate interests or fulfillment of legal obligations, or based on your express consent. We generally do not transfer your personal data to third countries outside the European Union.
We also store some of your personal data via cloud services or within email.
