Rudolf Burda
Rudolf Burda (1973), a prominent figure on the contemporary art scene, creates mainly abstract objects made of glass and stainless steel. In his minimalist work, he starts from basic geometric forms, which he tries to simplify as much as possible, and thus work his way to the very essence, the perfect form free of anything superfluous. He often works with very complex unique techniques, such as hand-blown uranium glass, laminated cased crystal or polished stainless steel. His perfectly crafted works, which are represented in many galleries and private collections around the world, radiate a strong energy, concealing a kind of fascination with space and its infinity.
