Martin Krajc (1984)
I'm interested
The work of Martin Krajc is characterised by a painterly expressive style synthesising vigour with the artist’s insuperable joy for life. The beginnings of his work were greatly shaped by the environment of the street art scene. His internship in Madrid was crucial for him, which, thanks to the strong influence of the old masters’ art, added playfulness and ease to Krajc’s painting, and also revealed to him the attractiveness of the corrida. In addition to the often varied motif of bulls, Krajc focuses on the figure, usually exposed in colour.
