Painting
Martin Krajc
Martin Krajc (1984) is characterised by an expressive painting style synthesising ferocity with the artist’s invincible joy of life. The beginnings of his work were greatly shaped by the environment of the street art scene. The internship in Madrid was crucial, which, under the strong influence of the art of the old masters, added playfulness to Krajc’s painting, loosened it up and revealed the magic of the corrida to the artist. In addition to the frequently varied motif of bulls, Krajc tends to the figure, usually exposed in colour.
