„The connecting thread of the entire Salon is the pop-art perception of the world, the consumer society and new technologies that are also used in arts and crafts. The artists of this Salon also draw inspiration from the American culture, and many of them have also resided, created, exhibited or were otherwise influenced by the United States. Capturing the spirit of the times is one of the main missions of art, and I am convinced that this year’s Summer Art Salon undoubtedly fulfils it.
